Ukraine Child #42095 – $29 per month
Pavliny is very loving and very poor Christian family. The family consists of parents and four boys of different ages: Andriy, Tymofiy, Daniil and Illya. They live in a small village Bilozirye in the Cherkassy region, south of Ukraine. The family has three rooms in one part of the house. Their grandmother Varvara also lives with them, who has heart issues.
Father Vasiliy is a fire man, he is the only provider for the family of seven people, including grandmother. Unlike many other countries, a fire fighter is not a well paid and respected job here.
Mother Yulia works hard at home and tries to do her best in the garden, so that family can have enough to eat. Summer in Ukraine is very short and she wants to prepare as much as possible for long winter.
The two older boys, Andriy and Timofiy, go to school and the young ones – Daniil and Illya stay with their mother. All the boys are very close and love one another. The family members have never been anywhere except their village. They go to the church and are very active members of the local Baptist church. All the boys have a good ear for music and they sing in the church choir.
Daniil is the youngest and the most active boy in the family. He is always doing something, always running, always singing. Psalms are his favorites. There are three goats in the family. Daniil loves the new born goat so much that he carries him around in his hands all the time.
Mercy Projects conducts a Child Sponsorship project in Ukraine to keep children at home with their mother or family members. Our goal is to keep children out of orphanages and home with family. Child Sponsorship supports the entire family and is the first step to bringing hope and health to these needy children.
Please pray for this wonderful Christian family. For the health of the grandmother, for boys and their parents, for peace in Ukraine.
Sponsorship of Daniil would be an encouragement and a blessing to this family.
