Paula and I are deeply grateful for your support this past year. As the scripture says, we continue to press on to serve at-risk children, widows and orphans, and partner with committed believers overseas to share the Gospel of Christ.
In January it will be 42 years since I left home to smuggle bibles behind the Iron Curtain. Next year Paula and I celebrate 40 years of marriage. Many of you have supported us 10, 20, or even 30 years. We have an awesome God and generous, amazing friends. Today however, we have an important prayer request. We need a miracle of healing.
Please Pray For Irina
This past October we celebrated 25 years of ministry in the country of Ukraine. I met Irina Skrypnik in 1992 when she translated for one of our EEO teams. In September of 1994 she became our director and accomplished the legal registration of our ministry in the newly formed, post Soviet country of Ukraine.
Irina is in the hospital today and needs our prayer. She had a few stomach pains in October, and several weeks later discovered that cancer of the pancreas had spread aggressively through her body. Of course, this discovery was an unbelievable shock and surprise to her and to all of us. Please join us in daily prayer for her.
Winter Camp Starts Soon
Despite Irina’s illness and the hardship of ministry in Ukraine, with your help we continue to press on. We hope to finish the year financially strong and pay for our Christmas camp by January 1. Please pray for a miracle for Irina, and thank you for standing with us financially as we press on to share the good news. Paula and I, and our entire staff, wish you a Merry Christmas and blessed 2020.
